1. SERVICES PROVIDED

DJ Fito agrees to provide professional DJ services for the event described above, including sound system equipment (speakers, mixer, microphone), music library access, and setup/breakdown time. Setup begins minimum 60 minutes before event start time. Breakdown completed within 60 minutes after event end.

2. PAYMENT TERMS

A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total service fee is due upon signing this Agreement to secure the event date. The remaining balance is due no later than 14 calendar days prior to the event date. If the remaining balance is not received by the due date, DJ Fito reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit. Payments accepted via Cash, Zelle (eebyhr@gmail.com), PayPal, or Venmo.

3. CANCELLATION POLICY

• Client cancels 30 or more days before the event: Deposit (30%) is retained; no additional charges apply.
• Client cancels 15–29 days before the event: 40% of the total service fee is due.
• Client cancels 0–14 days before the event: 50% of the total service fee is due. This is the maximum amount owed under any cancellation scenario.
• DJ Fito cancellation: Full refund of all amounts paid. DJ Fito will make every reasonable effort to find a qualified replacement DJ at no additional cost to the Client.

4. MUSIC & PERFORMANCE

DJ Fito will make every effort to fulfill Client's music requests. However, DJ Fito reserves the right to use professional judgment regarding song selection to maintain the atmosphere of the event. Client agrees to provide a playlist or "Do Not Play" list at least 7 days prior to the event.

5. EQUIPMENT & LIABILITY

DJ Fito will provide all necessary professional audio equipment. DJ Fito is not responsible for equipment failure caused by venue power issues, acts of nature, or third-party interference. Client is responsible for ensuring adequate power supply and space at the venue. DJ Fito's liability is limited to the amount paid under this Agreement.

6. VENUE & SETUP REQUIREMENTS

Client is responsible for ensuring the venue is accessible for setup 60 minutes before the event start time. Client must provide adequate table space, two (2) standard electrical outlets, and ensure that the venue's noise ordinance/curfew time is communicated to DJ Fito prior to the event date.

7. OVERTIME

Should the event extend beyond the contracted end time, overtime is billed at $200 per hour (or portion thereof), payable in cash at the time of extension.

8. TRAVEL

DJ Fito services the DMV area (Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia) and surrounding regions. Events located within 50 miles of Upper Marlboro, MD are included in the package price. Events beyond 50 miles are subject to a travel fee, which will be communicated and agreed upon in writing prior to contract execution.

9. FORCE MAJEURE

Neither party shall be held liable for failure to perform obligations under this Agreement due to circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, government-mandated shutdowns, severe weather, fire, or other acts of God. In such cases, parties agree to reschedule at no additional charge, subject to availability.

10. INDEMNIFICATION

Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless HR Entertainment and Engraving and DJ Fito from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from Client's actions or venue conditions.

11. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Any disputes shall be resolved in Prince George's County, Maryland.

12. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior discussions. Modifications must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
